Yep - that was part of my workout yesterday.
The first round of twenty had the ball up against the cage and I held onto the side of the cage with both hands.
Round two I moved the ball away from the cage, so it could roll freely. I held onto the cage with both hands.
Round 3 was one handed and the ball freely moving.
I finished up with one rep, totally unsupported, no holding on and the ball free to move. My legs were pretty shaky at that point so I didn't try a second.

I've seen a guy do that. Several reps, then remind the class "c'mon, circus elephants can do it." Me, I'm lucky to do a high kneel on the ball.
