Could you trade it in toward the bike you want? What year is the Bella?

Hi all, I bought a really nice (and expensive) road bike several years ago with the hopes to pick up cycling as a hobby. Unfortunately, I didn't. My beautiful bike has under 300 miles. I'd like to sell it as I just need a bike for leisurely rides with my family but not sure how to find out the value of the bike. I did try looking it up, but could not find its current value. Can anyone offer any suggestions on how to find its value or if there are any bike shops in NJ that buy bikes?

Its a 2005 in excellent condition. Its a true beauty, very light weight. I just don't ride and its too nice to sit in my garage. I participated in 3 (30 Mile) bike tours and rode here and there a few times.
Seems like it would be quite a lot of years old, why can't you use it for your leisure rides? Can't you tweak the fit at all? What amount of money would you spend on a leisure bike? If you google, you can probably get an idea of sold bikes. There is no current value for used stuff, it is just what you can get for it, right, your 300 miles means very little. Bike shops like car dealerships will buy low because they have to resell.
Yes, it is rather old but fairly new at the same time I think a hybrid bike would work better for my casual rides (body positioning). I think my current bike is too much bike for short rides in a park. I'm not sure how to tweak the fit, but I'm sure I can get someone to do it. It just seems like a waste of a good bike.
michelle, I thought i posted a response to your reply but it doesn't look like it went through..its a 2005 Litespeed Bella.
I found a 2007 for sale in CA for $650, but that's the only one I could find. Good luck getting a bike you like!
Thanks
I sold a 10 year old Litespeed once for $1000. Granted it was a men's 53, so a popular size, but a Litespeed is a very high quality bike. I don't think you should have too much problem finding a buyer. Honestly, I'd love to own a titanium road bike again some day. Loved that bike it was just too big for me.

This thread was a Bella for sale here from (I believe) last year. Don't know what it actually sold for - but might give you more information.
Most days in life don't stand out, But life's about those days that will...
What size is the bike? I live in NJ and might be interested.
Take it to a local bike shop and have it adjusted for more leisurely ride. For instance use taller stem to raise the handle bar. Replace the drop bar with something more comfortable for you.
It is too nice of a bike to be selling. You will regret it. I know because I sold my litespeed. Even after 10 years I regret having sold it.
