    Lizard Skins Celeste Green

Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I was on the Lizard Skins site looking at bar tape. Had the chance to try this stuff, recently, on someone else’s bike. This tape is amazing; grippy and cushioned. I'd love to put it on all my bikes. Pricey, but I'll get t here.

Anyway, they now have Bianchi Celeste Green.

The Bianchi road bikes are some of my favorite. I test rode a carbon model and a steel road model a couple of years ago, and loved them. Wasn't shopping for a bike at the time. But oh, my.

Would love an old Celeste frameset to rebuild, someday. When I looked on the 'Bay,' most were very large, or very expensive.

Ah, well. Add it to the list.

I <3 Lizard Skins. I rarely use gloves anymore (only if it is cold or I'm racing). Just had to say that

    Re: Lizard Skins Celeste Green

Personally I wouldn't go without gloves no matter how good the bar tape was/is. It only took falling once to discover gloves are protecting the hands, not for comfort/padding. But I also ride with padless gloves.

Yeah, I still won't go without 99% of the time for that reason. I mostly don't want to have to run with them on.

Mine? Oh yeah...I was without it for a couple of weeks, but have been riding it almost exclusively for about the past month (just as well...my CX bike is currently set up for the rugrat). Have an olympic distance du on Sunday.

Sorry to be reviving an old post guys, but I am looking at getting some Lizard Skin (thanks to all your recommendations) but I have to ask does it come as one continual piece, or two even pieces? I ask because I am looking at the dual colored version.... Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

It comes in two separate pieces for each side of the handlebar, just like any other handlebar tape. It's GREAT tape and worth the money for sure!

I will mention to those that are worrying about not wearing gloves, that I've fallen a number of times and although the gloves were still on my hands, they did NOT help my hands. Perhaps if your hands don't hit the pavement or you don't slide, then there might be some consoliation... but somehow pavement always wins, whether it's shorts, gloves etc.. Here's to hoping that none of us end up on the ground!
