Wouldn't it be fun to show some summer piccys?
It doesn't matter if it's road, mtb or just plain fun ride photos ;-)

Great photos.
May I suggest: Create a blog where you can pile in more photos, with also text to explain what area a series of photos are depicting and occasionally just send us a link to just a few favourite ones?

This year I started carrying a camera in my handlebar bag to share images of some of my rides on the ride reports forum of another bike site. It would be interesting to have one here, perhaps this thread, to see the areas we all ride in. My first photo post on this site was a ride in Joshua Tree National Park. Here are two other of the favorite areas that I’ve ridden in so far this year.
My usual weekend rides are in the Santa Monica Mountains. First are some from those rides.
A little over half way up Topanga Canyon road I always smile when I see this.
Mulholland Hwy, Old Topanga road and Tuna Canyon road are some of my routes.
Coming back down to Pacific Coast Hwy at Leo Carrillo State beach

The Santa Ines Mission in Solvang
Woow, its amazing nature and animals :-)

Whoa. Rebecca, those are some awesome pictures. What camera are you using? Good eye.

Beautiful pictures thus far! I rode up to New Buffalo, MI. It is a normal route for me but there were two detours that would have added over 13 miles to my route and would have put me crossing a very busy road in rush hour without a ride. I eventually called the SAG team. Still got about 42 miles in.
The bike:
Made it to the lake. Changed out of the shorts and jersey and into a swimsuit. Had some lunch and just enjoyed the beautiful weather.
Typical lighthouse haha!

thanks for the nice comments. I use a Leica rangefinder on my rides. Small enough for my handlebar bag and good image quality.
colorisnt, riding and beaches ftw
gocard, there are some beautiful riding areas in n ca too!! We are blessed to have good year round weather to ride in down here though

Wow Rebecca C those are fabulous photos! And that's a pricey camera, I'd be afraid to take it on a bike. Gorgeous countryside.
Colorisnt, I have a photo of that same lighthouse in New Buffalo!
I call this tree the Voodoo Tree for obvious reasons. It was from an early spring ride along the Huron River in Ann Arbor.
I post lots of Michigan photos on my blog from my rides.

Awesomesauce! I will have to follow your blog on RSS. I love Michigan and have been going up to New Buffalo for Redamacks and Oinks since I was an infant. It's a short drive. Back in the day, there wasn't much there but it's definitely a Chicago hotspot now. Michigan, in general, is an amazing state for cycling and probably my favorite state of all - cycling, beaches, hiking, camping, and WINE all in one state!
I will have to keep checking on here and updating. Bringing my DSLR up to Ottawa on my ride to Gatineau and back for sure. Riding my bike up there made me so very happy. I felt empowered. I'd take that over an expensive beach vacation any day.

I agree with everyone else about RebeccaC's photos -- looks like a professional photographer. Wow!
Mine aren't nearly so good, but here are a handful from our "urban adventures" here in the KC area. We've been riding everywhere!
After a grocery store run, we determined that we can bring home a 12-pack of double-roll Charmin in our two backpacks.

After getting my hair cut and styled at the Mitsu Sato Hair Academy -- amazing place. I knew it would never look this good again so asked DH to take a photo before the helmet went back on...
