Our 2nd annual Scenic Owyhee Byway ride. We had 15 riders this year, beautiful weather with a wealth of wild flowers. Only downside was the last 20 miles, which is technically downhill on paved roads but the headwind was so strong I was in the small chain ring and smaller gears the whole way. The Fat Bike contingency was to far out in front to catch so no drafting Still an awesome ride and Skye performed like the champ she is.

This is the Owyhee Scenic Byway We start in Jordan Valley, Or - about 90 miles from our home in Boise, Id and end up in Grandview, Idaho - about 60 miles from Boise, Id. Best to ride in the late Spring, after the snow melt and rains but before the heat and dust of summer. Biggest challenge is water. We resort to a sag wagon that hauls water, beer and gear for those who don't want to carry gear on their bike. Works well as it allows some in our group the ability to ride a multi day trip. We map it at 110 with about 85 of it on dirt/gravel
