    The happy way to exercise

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Ladies, ladies, we've got it all wrong! Skip the bikes, skip the running and swimming and crosstraining and what-not, and try the new exercise regime guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Or on the faces of those around you, at least, if they can pull their jaws up off the ground:

I'm suddenly reminded of what I must have been like when I was about six. "Mommy, mommy, look! I can gallop like a horse!" "Mh-hm, very nice dear." "Mommy, mommy! Now I'm trotting, look!"

Saw this on the TV news, and they were treating it as legit. I had to laugh! A friend of mine posted the video on Facebook this morning with the comment "There are no words."

I think it is 100% awesome. It goes along with a book she wrote in the 80s(hence the hair/clothes/music)

I believe it's a video resurrected from the 1970's or something. At least that's what I'd heard.

Either she's fooled a whole lot of people very well, or she def is legit. I dunno, it's weird and awkward and all, but her enthusiasm and total lack of interest in what other people might think is growing on me.

There's even a parody, though you wouldn't think it were possible:

I agree! She appears to really be into what she's doing and kind of reminds me of my sister. My sis loves to look pretty all the time and also likes to appear graceful even when exercising. I'll share a silly story, once she gave herself shin splints because she rode her exercise bike with her toes pointed to the ground because she thought it make her look and feel like a princess! No kidding. Gotta love my darling sister!

I also saw this on the news this morning and laughed. But, I agree. She did look like she's had some kind of dance training, just in the way she held her body.
Kind of reminded me of a friend of my mom's who was very "artsy" back in the day.

that looks like something I weould prefer to do, if I did it, in the privacy of my own home. The big hair and red botox lips are very definitely a doodah ( defintiely older debutante air head) look and most certainly the older Houston or Texas mrs. gotrocks look as well as the local DINK moms look.

    just sayin.

speaking of dance moves, just saw the dvd of a movie called Black Swan- fantastic story about a dancer who dances the double role in Swan Lake. Plays with your mind a bit but very interesting.
