So, I lost my mind and decided to sign up for a no-drop training ride tomorrow. It was intended for the MS-150 riders, but several folks from the club are going. The longest I've ever gone has been 25 miles. I decided if I start to sag I can always turn around and go back. I'm not afraid to ride by myself if I need to, but I really think I can do it....well, I'm not 100% convinced, but I'm going to give it my best shot.

Sorry I'm so late in responding. To make a long story short I ended up having both insomnia and panic attacks. In the end it was only 3 hours of sleep, so I decided to skip it. Instead I did a shorter ride close to home.
There's rumors they are going to repeat it next weekend, so I may try it again. I feel lame, but I just didn't think I could make it on so little sleep and anxiety.
My partner did say the last 15 miles were rough, but it was a gorgeous ride with lots of wildflowers.

I think you made a logical choice - I can't imagine going into a 60 mile ride in that condition. Hope it works out for next week!
