    Close enough

But there's a Starbucks even closer - right next to Fuzio's and a Cold Stone Creamery.

Hmmm, Lemon Drops, Coffee, and Ice Cream, what more could one want ?

Would you California gurls quit having so much fun!

Pssst...the Peets Aged Sumatra is the BEST after dinner coffee. When I don't have it smuggled from your oh-so-golden state, I have it delivered to my door (it only takes 2 days and they roast it fresh the day they send it...MMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmm).

(BTW, I expect some Peets and real beer--not this 3.2 stuff--when you come for LRRH).

How did this thread turn into "Ode to Peets"?

    But I'll continue it anyway!

I lived in London for half of 2001 and many friends came to visit - the only thing we asked was that they bring plenty of Peets.

I think we had enough Peets to last the entire 6 months, between what we "packed in" and what was brought by friends! Yum!!! Of course, I took up regular tea drinking in the afternoon - with a McVitties Biscuit, of course! - (when in Rome etc.), but there's nothing like the first sip of Peets in the morning...

And now back to the title of the thread...

I'm confused by all the dinner threads, but I think I'd opt for Italian over Mexican for preride (not for carb loading per se, more for the comfort factor), so I'm scooting over to AG's dinner thread...

I'm sorta with you on that, Z. I'd rather have Italian, as well. Plus, I know where Fuzio's is and it's close to the hotel.
