Has anyone ridden the GAP? My brother moved to Ohio, a short ways from Pittsburg where the trail starts. I am thinking of visiting him this summer and having him drop me at the trailhead. If I get really ambitious, I could finish off in DC by taking the C & O. If you have done this trip and have a blog, please send me a link!

There's a COTowpath yahoo group. Lots of people on it have ridden the GAP as well as the towpath.

I've done it but I don't have a blog. It was a great trip! Bring a light for the Paw-Paw tunnel.

My husband did this ride as his first post retirement ride and he has a blog here. http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/2009Retirementride He really liked the ride, despite the weather. It is alot of pedaling!!! ...lots of flat riding!
