Thanks! Just got a call from the shop that it's in and I can pick it up any time. Darned shame I'm stuck at work.

Holy cow! How did I miss this?

So sorry you had the break-in, but very cool that you have a new bike. I got my new bike, too, but have some tweaks to do to get it to work (mainly cutting down the seat post). Let's plan a C&O ride this spring.
2007 Rivendell Glorius/Trico gel with cutout (not made any more apparently)
    2005 Specialized Sequoia Comp/Specialized Dolce
2006 Kona Cinder Cone/another Trico gel
    1986? Bridgestone mixte/Brooks B72
    1991 Bridgestone 300 Xtracycle/Terry Gelissimo

I don't want a new mountain bike!! I like my red one just fine. Though it does spend too much time on the balcony and not enough on the trails.

    - Gray 2010 carbon WSD road bike, Rivet Independence saddle
    - Red hardtail 26" aluminum mountain bike, Bontrager Evoke WSD saddle
    - Royal blue 2018 aluminum gravel bike, Rivet Pearl saddle

    Gone but not forgotten:
    - Silver 2003 aluminum road bike
    - Two awesome worn out Juliana saddles

Thanks, DB. And congrats on finally getting yours, I'm looking forward to seeing it this spring! How could they miss something as basic as the length of the seat post?

It seemed fine during my test ride, but when I rode it to work, the seat was just a bit too high for comfort, if you know what I mean :-). It wouldn't go any lower because of the braze on for the water bottle. I cut about a half inch off and now it's adjusted just fine.

I'd love to see our TE stone in the Catoctin Aqueduct. Maybe we could ride up in the Brunswick area.

I went and more or less found it (or at least the section it's in) this past summer. The new aqueduct really looks terrific.
