Very impressive. An Ironman at 82 y.o.; I'll be happy if I can at least still do sprints (or 5Ks for that matter) when I am in my 80's.

She finished in 16:32, after a great swim and a great bike. Room to spare! Last year she didn't finish the bike.
She set a new record in the 80-85 age group as the first female finisher ever. She also finished faster than her record in the 75-79 age group. So awesome.
A slightly fuzzy picture I took of her at the finish (I was volunteering at the time): https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.n...34725563_n.jpg

That's fabulous!!! She's such an incredible inspiration (in so many ways). Go Sr. Madonna!!!

She's amazing!!
I wish the Vatican would stop pressuring her to act in a more ladylike and retiring fashion.

Best of all, she looks happy!
So nice that you were there at the finish, I must admit that was one of the better moments, seeing her cross the line..so happy for her, the energy around the line that time of night is amazing! Worth every second.
