Crash Damage - Shift / brake levers

    To disable ads, please log-in.

I crashed about a month ago and scratched up my shift/brake levers. It's all cosmetic but the part that got it the worst was the part over the top that says "Ultegra" on it. This cracked a bit. Is there a way to replace just that 'vanity' piece cheaply?

http://www.amazon.com/Shimano-Ultegr.../dp/B001GSMI7S ?? You'd want to verify the model number and year before ordering of course. Your LBS can get it for you, might be a couple of bucks more, but it would be worth it to be sure (and to give the business to your LBS).

I didn't even know it was called a nameplate until I did my own faceplant. I left the bashed-in nameplates (along with the blood on my helmet strap ) as a kind of badge of honor ...

Thanks, I'll talk to my LBS about it. I had no clue if it was a seperate piece or if I would have to replace to whole thing. Glad to see it's an option!
