Quite muddy autumn ride:
.
Info on Sportstracker.
I was with my husband's bike. It's heavier than mine and with DH tires so it was hard for me to get to the trails: about 15 miles in one direction on the road.
I also fell because of traction on the mud and now I have bruises on the nose and under the eye. I can mask it with makeup. I broke a little piece of my helmet.

Nice pics and video! I'm trying to imagine what it would be like riding in the snow.

Got out yesterday and it was definitely an adventure! Although the temps have been warm here, there still was a fair amout of ice in the woods and not simply in the shaded areas. When I was able to find dirt, simply was very greasy... so traction was a challenge for the ride. HOWEVER, for 2012 it was a record year for me... I got out on the trails earlier(April) than ever and also was out the latest in the year without chains or studded tires. YIPEE!!
I do enjoy watching those videos, but the one concern I've had with trying it is not being able to see where the rocks and roots are beneath all of that snow Granted it is moot for me this year as I am off the mountain bike for now, but it is interesting to me to listen to the wide range of opinions of my (much) more experienced mtb friends (almost all of them). Some dearly love getting out in the snow, others will wait for next season and hit the gravel roads of southern Indiana for the winter.
Yippee Ridebikeme, it sounds like you had a lot of fun making that personal record
Yes, I've had a great time Catrin, although I can't say that I had any control over the situation HA! But, it's that time of year, so will now have to mount the studded tires to do any ride or commute. How's your winter training going? Any fun classes at the gym?
Lots of fun stuff at the gym lifting heavy things and doing a lot of metabolic conditioning work like always. Not much bike time recently though, which is quite sad With it being dark when I leave/arrive home every day now this only leaves the weekend for riding and we've been getting rain. I hope to get some gravel riding in soon - hopefully the current warmish winter weather will continue so I can!
