    Puncture Wound

I punctured my hand yesterday on my disc brake rotor
I'm 99% positive it went in until it hit bone as I could see my bone right after it happened After gushing blood for a minute it sealed right up and all that's left of the gore is a perfect red half moon.

It hurts like a B and its swollen and bruised today.

I'm just whining. DH is giving me no sympathy (probably because he has to fold the laundry and empty the dishwasher now ).

Although I can hold onto my bike handle, I can't brake. And I can't do anything that pulls or applies pressure on it, so no strength training either.

I have a race on Sunday.

Okay, I'm done whining now. This is what happens when you work at home, there's no coworkers to tell your stories to or get sympathy from.

((((Limewave)))). That sounds pretty whine-worthy to me. I hope the pain lessens enough by Sunday so that you can do your race.
Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.

Thanks for the hugs, I needed them!
I had to get a tetanus shot last night--so at least I'm good for another 5 years or so.

Big ouch! Did you slice it on the sharp rotor edge?
The up side is that it will make an interesting scar.
