    Plus Sized Clothes at TE

    To disable ads, please log-in.

How are you all doing? I was wondering if any one here has bought the plus sized clothes from TE and did you like them?

I have my eye on these: Breezy Boardshort Plus because the regular shorts seem sized pretty small.

I'd love a pair of Gore Power shorts but I just can't fit them according to their size charts.

I could fit a pair of LG Sensor shorts but there are only two reviews and they don't seem too great.

I'm also looking at the SPF Sleeveless Jersey Plus by Canari and those have good reviews and plenty of sizes.

I can't help with sizing but I really like the Canari SPF jerseys. Very light. Not over the top looking.

When I was plus size I really like Terry products as well. Heck, I still like Terry products.

I have a Canari SPF summer lightweight long sleeve jersery. I wear a size 22 (UK) and ordered a XXL. I found the top a little shorter in length than my Mt Borah jersery (which I love - also a XXL). It is also a little tighter fitting than the Mt Borah jersery. I would probably go up a size if I was going to order another one. The quality and material as well as the colour is great.

It's good to remember that each brand uses it's own sizing chart, so it helps to know your actual measurments when comparing to the charts. Also pay attention to the fit notes - they tell you if the garment is fitting larger or smaller than than the size charts. Depending on brand, fit and fabric, I can wear Lg, XL, XXL or 1X.

Definitely call TE if you have questions, Mon thru Fri from 8am to 5pm Pacific time, we're there to help!

Thank you for that detailed LG (how about that) shorts review. Also, I missed that there was a jersey offered like that on TE. It's beautiful!! You are a doll!

I did not find the fit of the Sensors and the Neo Powers to be the same. The Sensors were huge on me in the waist and way too tight in the legs. The Neo Powers, in one size larger than I normally wear, were a nice even fit all over and are my favorite pair of shorts.
