So today I did a longish road ride because I am leaving for a cross country in 2 weeks and it was a drop dead gorgeous day.
Usually around here it is the churches that have the pithy signs but this one was on a tree nursery
"It's Spring!!!!!
We got so excited we wet our plants!"
Shortly after that I passed a field with three horses and one zebra-
Yes ,it was definitely that sort of a ride.

I've a route I use from time to time that has reindeer and other exotic animals - and these are huge compounds. It is a long ride from my apartment but well worth it.
That sign is funny
I liked the sign I saw at the entrance to a very rural driveway-
Old Dogs Young Dogs
Several Stupid Dogs
Please drive carefully
Not all who wander are lost
Our neighbors in a rural subdivision had a sign on their driveway that said "Dogs not used to cars; please drive slowly". It always made me laugh since these were people who drove into and out of their driveway multiple times per day. They didn't own bikes, and the wife NEVER took walks.

I am leaving for an epic ride from New Orleans to Lake Itasca, MN along the Mississippi next week and am really looking forward to adding to my pithy church sign collection. When I did the Underground Railroad (Mobile AL to Niagara falls, Canada) the ground was rife with them, I often found several each day.
