There are a couple of local shelters that I plan to spend some time at and there is also a fanily looking for a home for their golden/spaniel cross that can't go with them on a move. So I have lots of options once I get the final OK from my landlord. There isn't anything in my lease about no pets but we haven't spoken about it explicitly. They are on vacation right now so I'm waiting for them to get back.

I have what I would consider very good dog handling skills, I've owned hounds before that would listen to me but worked over the rest of the family.

I think it would be really fun to have a dog that we could do agility stuff with. We already have some skinnies and a teetertotter that the BF built for mountain biking practice.
