Great report! I'm eager to read the next instsllments. Maybe it's just my reading of it, but you sound so calm and nonchalant about the race. I would have been a nervous wreck, but you sound so Zen.

    Wow; that's awesome.

Did I do my math right? You rode a bit over 17 miles an hour for 224 miles? That, on its own, is impressive. Add in the swim and run of a double IM and I'm just in awe.

Yup--that's right. The wind was rough though. Without that, it would have been a smidge higher for sure, but I had to ride the hand that the weather dealt me on that day!Not trying to complain for sure, but the weather was tough!

    What GLC said.

Also, your reports are doing a great job of taking me from "good grief, this is so enormous I can't even imagine it" to "holy sh***, this actually happened and Kacie actually did it."

Are you sure you're not a writing teacher?

So far it sounds like you had a blast.

Wow Kacie. What cool reports and I agree with the others, your crew rocked it!!

I have to say that I shouldn't be reading these, lest I get some sort of crazy idea about doing one.
