Solo women cycling-tourers-'round the world or close to it

I'm certain the TE ladies here would be in kinship and admiration with these solo female cycling-tourers who have either cycled around the world or close to it:

Give profiles and their web sites/blogs. Maybe there's 1-2 here who are TE members. If you are, speak up!

Amazing women! One of the women is 72 - that gives me hope that there is still time for me to do something like that.

    Women on Wheels and Skalatitude

    Hi there,

Just saw this thread and a request to "speak up." I first (electronically) met Loretta Henderson when she picked up a link to my report on my solo tour in the Cévennes in France on her Women on Wheels page. She later interviewed me, and I interviewed her, on our respective websites. She is funny and smart and wildly adventurous on her bike ... her site is fun to follow. My adventures are waaaaayyyyy smaller, but still adventures, for me!

My interview with her is at: http://susancycling.blogspot.com/201...henderson.html

If anyone visits, please feel free to leave comments, they really do enrich sites and I love to hear from TE readers.

    Happy pedalling everyone!

    Suze
