Don't know if this is an option for you, but we recently started our dog (Katy) on Adequan injections. Katy is 10 and has always had hip dysplasia that was mostly controlled via glucosomine. We noticed though that she was starting to have more pain and difficulty. After a long talk with our vet and much research, we decided to try the Adequan. She's only had 3 shots so far but we have already noticed improvement. We are keeping our fingers crossed this works.
