Has anybody trained on this? I'm always looking for ways to change things up & this looks interesting. Seems like there is a lot of core work involved in almost every exercise. Plus, it's portable so it can be set up anywhere.

So, has anybody used this? I've seen it used in my gym, but the trainer doesn't seem to know a lot of moves.

I have been doing TRX at my gym for a few months! It's weight lifting where you leverage your body weight. You make it easier/harder by the angle in which you position yourself. You could always google some moves then try them out at your gym. I hope that someone at your gym actually knows how to do it and could show you.
I did a one hour advanced class just last night and burned almost 600 calories! It was awesome and I am sore.

I really recommend it. My husband's strength coach (who coaches a professional rugby team in Italy) recommended it to him. It's really portable and gives you a great workout. I just wish I had the patent on it . . .

I did TRX for my core with the help of a coach. Wow, it's a workout. It definitely strengthened my core and was more fun than just doing floor core work. I think it's more beneficial if you have a coach to help you at first so your form is good.

I'll need to hunt around to see who is experienced with TRX. Just watching the trainer at the gym, it's apparent that there is a lot to learn.

The people I see using it at the gym tend to move their hips way too much. While the trainer watches them, silently. (The trainers at my gym are not very good. Which is why I go to a trainer at my old gym every other week. But for some reason he does not have me using the TRX.)

I've considered getting one for home use eventually, I just don't know a safe/sturdy enough way to set it up in my apartment considering it uses my body weight...
