    Which cycle club in Melbourne

Just when I have settled back into little old NZ DH announces we are off to Melbourne.

I need to find a cycle club to suit us. Here's the criteria-

East Melbourne (Box Hill, Forest Hill area) if possible.
Wide range of ages and a good mix of male and female
    NOT totally race orientated
Social- cafe lunches, group dinners etc
Wide range of groups going out at different average speeds.

DH and I usually ride tandem or our half bikes. We do occasional team races/time trials but really enjoy the social aspect of cycling. We ride usually every weekend and can comfortably do 100km distance.

Is there a cycle club out there that will suit us? We currently ride with a Veteren cycle club, so any ages are good (except school aged kids of course!).

Well it's more permanent that my time Singapore. I am packing and moving a house this time around... at least parents can afford to visit. Plus no 93 year old grandma with dementia as well.

From my brief recon trip the other week lotsa of people cycling which is good.

BTW cycling makes friends and really does help you settle into a new city/country quickly. At least there's a common theme to talk about!
