They sometimes have McLobsters here. I don't eat there, but I've noticed the ads.

This is the least surprising news story I've read in a while.

I was watching 101 Ways To Leave a Gameshow the other day and one of the questions was: which one of these was NOT a McDonald's creation: McLobster, McEggroll and McSpam.
The answer was McEggroll. I was mortified that there was such a thing as a McLobster because I thought for SURE McLobser wasn't real.
McFalafel, tho? Wow...

McDonald's surprises me frequently. What made them think that some of this stuff was a good idea?
Now I want a meat pie from a slightly sketchy Middle Eastern restaurant in Cleveland. I also want a falafel salad from the equally sketchy cafe in Little Italy, Cleveland. Their chai is terrible, but that salad and the dressing are to die for...
At least I don't leave slime trails.

They have coconut pies at McD's in Hawaii.
My favorite fast food creation ever, I think. Also the only thing I've had from McDonalds besides coffee in about 5 years. (It's the only anything besides church open in Laie on Sundays.)

In Oklahoma I was able to get deep fried okra at McDonald's. I loooooved it.
In New Zealand I got pickled beets and a fried egg on the McDonald's hamburgers. Sheer bliss!

I live in OK and I've never seen deep fried okra at McD's. Of course, I rarely ever eat there, and I don't like okra, so perhaps it IS on the menu.

I only go to McDonald's in my home city...which is um...2-3 times annually. Their muffins are small and cheap.
Seriously, I just avoid most hamburger food chains when I'm a tourist in other areas of North America or overseas. I only go to such food chains as last resort (which happens on a bike out in the middle of nowhere).
So I have no clue what the regional McD food menu items are.
