    CLR: How to use?

    To disable ads, please log-in.

I have a container of CLR but have never used it, as it says "test" it out before going full strength. Well, we get horrible calcium build up in our sink stoppers and our toilets.

    Any advice?

That stuff is the bomb. We also have awful calcium. It works really well. We use it full strength. We'll saturate a washcloth with it and wrap it around the sink faucets an wipe down the shower and sinks with it.

It works great and I've never had a problem with it. If you have colored sinks and fixtures, try it out on a small spot.

I use it full strength on most everything that has calcium crud. I even use it to clean the vaporizer heating element. I've not found anything that it has damaged yet but I also don't have colored sinks. Our water is so hard that I can make a sculpture out of the buildup.
