Yay! Rode the new bike home from work today (~16 miles). Went great, loved it. Due to rain I didn't get to do as much posterior stress testing as I had hoped to this week, so I'm really curious to see how bad it is tomorrow. 600mg of Ibuprophen pre-ride should have helped.

Next question... What to wear for this? I start out at work and don't want to look like too much of a, er, idiot. Today I ended up in XL cycling tights with a my big gardening shirt over them to hide the unsightly bulges. HELP!

    Yay for you!!!!
Honestly- when I make my commute home from work longer, I just wear what I wore at work on top and put some capri cycling tights on the bottom. Just wear whatever you are comfortable in. If you were comfy in what you wore yesterday- then wear that again. Whatever makes you FEEL comfy will be comfy. I didn't feel comfy wearing jerseys and tights at first, so most of my rides at first were just a looser dri-fit shirt and baggy shorts over cycling shorts.
