    I've heard that cats also really dislike dryer sheets, so they can be used as a deterrent (friend had a log cabin with beams everywhere that she didn't want the cats on, and it seemed to work for her). I haven't tried it though.

    Read up on lilies. Get rid of them and never allow them into your house. Don't touch them and pet your cat after. Google info about your other plants at home too.

    I will think of other things! Enjoy them, they are precious.

    I just remembered: before you leave the house, Always count noses. Make sure they are not in a closet or office or bathroom with door closed. I've accidentally closed them in a closet and now the one has kidney issues and must drink and pee a lot - so being in a closet all day would b very bad.
