    Question Soldier ride

My husband and I plan on doing the ride, but have never done fund raising. You have the choice of signing up as one person, joining a team, or starting your own team. What are the benefits of starting a team as opposed to joining a team? I have no idea how this stuff works anyhoo. My husband has all the contacts for people donating, but I have none. Do you have any obligations for being a team leader? Can a team be only 2 people? Sorry, I know that I rambled on, but I knew that this would be the folks to ask. Thanks for any help in advance.

I did the Soldier Ride here in September. Unless it's a ride with the same name, but sponsored by a different organization (the Wounded Warrior Foundation), there were no fund raising requirements. We paid our entry fee and any other fund raising was optional. It was all very casual.
Contact the sponsoring organization. They can answer all of your questions.
