I have the soft rubber "artificial wrist" - is that what you mean? I've used it for a year with no problems.

Anyone use the bike mount with the Garmin 305? If so, how is it workiing for you?

I have both the "fake wrist" and the quick release. I ONLY use the quick release for duathlons, of which I've only done 1. Not a fan of the velcro strap for regular use.
Both options are good, though.

I used the quick release mount for about 2 years, until it started releasing when I went over big bumps; I launched that Garmin more often than I care to remember and it's no fun searching the side of the road hoping that the thing can be found and is still working. Now I use the rubber mount. For my triathlons this means leaving my older 305 on the bike and using my 310 on my wrist for everything else.
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

Thanks I'll check out the mounts. I did see that there were two different mounts. There was one with a cadence too.
