Sorry for the delay, and of course I totally understand folks taking a pass on the holiday weigh-in.

There will of course be another thread for January/February, watch for it and post there if you want to go another round.

Small consolation but grateful that no one else was involved. He was driving alone and lost control of his car so no other car. I guess we will never know exactly what happened but it seems that he didn't suffer, so we hold on to that. He was 26 and still figuring out who he wanted to be when he grew up. Was working to save money to hike the Appalachian trail come March and we had plans for me to meet him along the way to restock him a couple of times.

I do thank you all for the kind thoughts and words.

Possegal--what a tough loss. Your nephew sounds like my kind of guy.

I'm calling it a pass for this weight challenge. We had two deaths in our family as well and with Christmas and working OT and everything else, I just haven't done myself right.

I'm planning on coming back strong for the next challenge. Thanks for your work on this!

I'm sorry to hear of your family's loss, Possegirl. Holidays won't be quite the same for his parents/siblings.

When I hear of soaring Christmas music, I can't help but think of my sister. Christmas was much more subdued and contemplative this year.

Back to 134 for me Holiday season is about behind us however, and my legs can finally take some real work - so I expect that things will improve in the next challenge.

No exercise to speak of since that MCL tear in August, though. The doomed "5K Every Day in August" plan. What a loser idea that turned out to be.

    There's always 2011, I guess.

Possegal - so sorry for your loss. Your family has been in my prayers.

Oh, since i totally went the wrong direction in Nov/Dec and 'lost' all that I 'gained', make my goal 139.
