    Tights for tall women

Does anyone have any recommendations for tights for taller women?

I'm 5'9" with a 34" inseam...and have found that women's tights tend to be too short.

I'm thinking of purchasing men's tights with the hope that the inseam is longer.

Does anyone have any recommendations on a brand with longer inseams?

Right here on Team Estrogen there is an entire "specialty shop" for tall women! http://www.teamestrogen.com/product/...cialty_04.html

SusanO does a great job of keeping Team Estrogen stocked with tall clothing that is truly TALL!

(Several tights in that link, by the way. I linked the whole shop, and not just the tights, because if you are tall like me you probably also search desperately for torsos and sleeves that are long enough!)

I feel really weird suggesting this - but gapbody fit has some tights that look really nice - obviously not cycling specific, but they come in the ankle, regular, or tall lengths and are maybe $50? I saw them the other day and really want a pair.

My tights are never long enough. I close the gap with longer socks which has the added benefit of keeping the zippers from bugging my ankles.

If the tights listed for TE aren't long enough, try Boure (http://www.boure.com/2656.html ). The large, without stretching has a 32" inseam. For my 34" pant inseam that is just about right. They tuck into my cycling boot and I'm good to go.

If that isn't long enough for you, they will custom size their stuff for you. I have gargantuan femurs and want my cycling shorts to approach my knees. Even the long Terry T-short doesn't come close. Boure makes me custom shorts with a nice long inseam and now I don't look like a an old granny trying to wear hot pants anymore
