    keeping the mountain in mtb...

Went for a great ride this weekend up on the Kettle Crest in NE Washington. It was a figure 8, first we went around Sherman Peak on some non stop technical up and down, and then around Columbia Mountain with more cruising throught meadows and forest... Man, it's good to be alive. All in all we did almost 20 miles, with a very high fun factor, good group.

(thanks to TB and PJ for the photo links, I left my camera in my bag all day)

That looks like so much fun! I love long pedally rides in the mountains.

The climb in the 4th pic looks like hard work! Was it as soft as it looks?

Very nice Pixs Irulan. Some of those trails could be here in NM - cept we don't have as many trees! lol
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

it was somewhat soft, not too bad, but steep. That was a go for the grunt moment, I knew I had to make it past the photographer....

How gorgeous! I can't imagine riding trails like that. Eastern mountains are so different. You can actually _see_!! You are so lucky to be able to ride there...
