Stained glass art, other interests on cycling trips

    http://cyclewriteblog.wordpress.com/...ht-and-colour/

Some terrific stained glass art that I saw in various European cities. I enjoyed going to major museums, etc. where the long history and art of a place is showcased.

Frankly, I cannot just cycle through a foreign country, particularily countries that linguistically and culturally are different than home country (Canada) and ignore the cultural sites completely.

Whereas my dearie cycled through Sweden for 2 days and then 7 days longer in Denmark. Did not stop into any sites, churches, etc. I COULDN'T do that. He couldn't give me a proper explanation except vague comments about local architecture, on interesting cultural /unique stuff.

Otherwise what is the point? Otherwise the Danish, Swedish countryside,....ends up looking like a region of Canada.

    I hope I didn't say/show anything wrong.

As you can see, I drove my dearie abit nutso when he was with me in some museums. (Well, cycling for many hrs. in Prague is not an enjoyable experience unlike some other European cities). The saving grace is he does appreciate certain types of art and music.
