TRIDENT TWIG (folding recumbent) - $600

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Wasabi Green Trident TWIG recumbent bike in very good condition for sale, low miles - $600, price is firm.

It's a fun ride and a nice fold. This recumbent bike folds in a way that might surprise you: the rear wheel does not swing over nor under, to nestle by the front wheel – it folds to the side! No tools are necessary either, for folding, lowering the handlebars, nor for removing the seat. The seat is a hard shell with a foam cushion, and the recline angle is adjustable – again, without tools (like the folding, it just involves quick-releases) – from 40 to 52 degrees.

The TWIG brand new lists for $1249, plus $70 shipping.

    Hi NY Biker,
I haven't checked in on TE in awhile and just noticed this today.
Thanks for asking. We made it through Hurricane Matthew with only yard debris. Other places nearby, though, were flooded or had large, fallen oak trees cause some damage. We did evacuate and go 95 mi inland for several days (towards the Columbia area) but it wasn't much better there ... still high winds, floods and trees falling. In hindsight, staying at home wouldn't have been a bad option. Folks in my neighborhood who are natives to the area said they knew to ride it out.
Another problem, though, that some folks had was LOOTING. It's just awful how people can take advantage of a bad situation and break into unoccupied homes.
Oftentimes I really do miss riding there in No VA. There are so many wonderful trails to venture out on. The trails around Charleston are mainly mountain bike trails and the roads are so hazardous that I'm not comfortable riding them, so I make do riding through my neighborhood and surrounding area.
Be safe on your roads and paths and watch out for ice.
    Kathy
