So....belt drive bikes have been out for a while now.

Anyone riding any? What's the verdict?

My favorite LBS introduced me to Honey Bikes. They have a commuter that looks kind of neat (line is so new, the website doesn't have everything up yet) - 8-spd internal, disc brakes, steel frame (steel fork....hmmm, I've been on carbon so long now, I'm not sure of that one). But their commuters come with belt drives. I was wondering if you have any experience with them and what your impressions are.
    Thanks!

    Gates carbon belt drive ...

No experience with single bikes, but we retrofitted the Gates Carbon timing chain to our tandem and love it. Expensive, but it is quiet, clean, long lasting, and light weight. It also gets a lot of attention (and not just from cyclists). We won't consider another tandem without the Gates.
