LOL! I saw the title, read "NE" as "New England" and immediately thought "Is something supposed to happen?"

It's too early to be having massive winter storms.

I thought the same thing, but then realized it was not New England!

hey... Wyoming got hit hard too I managed to ride in to work yesterday, but not so much today. Laramie is completely snowed in right now. There is no road open out of town... it happens a lot here, but it's still strange. When I go to the grocery store when it's like this, there's just no food. Last year, I took the last can of re-fried beans in the whole grocery store. Seriously, who runs out of beans?!

Grumble. The better part of the "People's Republic of Boulder" is shut down, but do they close campus....NOOOOO. So who had to trudge through the ice this morning to make it to class on time....yep, MartianDestiny. I'm thinking gradschool is not worth my life.

It's great here! Retired so don't have to go out but schools and businesses are closed. 17" in my yard yesterday afternoon and it snowed all night. Plan to snowshoe or cc ski today.

    These pictures were taken yesterday.

Nah, not considered a record here. Measurements are taken at the airport and they only got around 8".

I've already skied 3 days this season. Probably will not meet my Oct. cycling goal though.

Agree. this weather is lowering my mileage. Although I have shoveled at least a ton of snow...
16" of snow and about 1" of ice at my house.

So far just rain here in Lincoln, NE(braska). Not overwhelming, but DH (in this case, DH stands for Die Hard cyclist) had me drive him to work today. That almost never happens.

It is still snowing here Last night before I went to bed we had about 12 inches and when I woke up there was probably another 6 or more. It is so pretty to see. Can't wait to get the skis out.

Hmmm, still snowing..It is so pretty to look at. I live in an older neighborhood. It was established in the early 1900s. I think around 1903. I feel like I am in a Norman Rockwell picture or one of those snow globes that someone is shaking
