I'll have to see if I can find some here in town, I have a student working for me who's from Malaysia and she might enjoy a taste from home.

I've been sick this week, so my eating has been all over the place.

    Yesterday:
    Got up late.
B: An apple. (We ran out of milk, so no cereal for me.)
L: Don't remember. Whatever I found in the fridge.
S: Two chocolate chip cookies and Earl Grey Lavender tea with milk and sugar.
D: Bowl of soup with a couple of slices of bread.
    S: Mug of milk.

B: whole wheat bagel, lite cream cheese, lox, and tomato. a few strawberries, 2 cups of coffee and 1/4 cup of grapefruit juice.

L: Chicken (Boar's Head) and light provolone on whole wheat bread, with mustard, about 1/4 cup of cole slaw, an orange, one square of dark chocolate.

snack when riding: half a Luna Bar at about mile 12 of a 25 mile ride, a bottle of water with Nuun. Ate another half a Luna bar when I got back.

D: salad with roast chicken, romaine, poblano pepper, chick peas, goat cheese, grape tomatoes, glass of water and one square of dark chocolate

I think I ate way too much salt on Friday, because when I woke up yesterday, I had gained 4 pounds since Thursday

Owlie, sorry you're feeling like crap. But I couldn't help but giggle at your justification for the organic chicken nuggets, ..followed by a bag of chips. Real comfort food or shall we say, real 'chicken soup' for the sick cyclist.

We don't know anything else except you take supplements quite often during the day. Are they vitamins?

L: Spring mix plus half a chicken breast (chicken sprinkled with garlic powder, pepper, paprika and oregano with a little salt, cooked in olive oil and a bit of chicken broth), with olive oil and vinegar dressing. Can of Blue Sky

Roasted garlic potatoes grown by my friend,
    & glass of milk.
(we had the same stuff for dinner last night too)

    6 tiny 'miniature chocolates'.
