This is the first time we are doing an extended bike tour, so
wish me luck on the hills and I'll holler at Lance and the Peleton for y'all!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"
Back from our Tour and it was Fantastic.
Great Riding and
Great Scenery, especially in the Pyrenees
We rode some of the Tour mountains and the routes and watched 3 stages along with the finish in Paris.
The excitement around the Tour was incredible. Lance and Team were very accessible. I even got on the Discovery bus in Pau thanks to a nice personal assistant of Lance's.
Here are a few shots.
Oh yeah, and my hubby survived the Running of the Bulls!
Wow, that IS a closeup of dear George!!! Lucky you!!!
Glad you had a nice trip, hope you ate tons of great food.
Wowwww...That must have been a trip of a lifetime.
Love the pictures.. Close enough to give George a hug?
I am full of envy....
Picture #2 is not George.
Whoops, my mistake - wishful thinking.
He was wearing a #4 or #8.
4 was George.
8 was Ruberia. Do you think it was him? I was not sure.
Here are 5 more of the riders as they pedaled to the Discovery Bus.
Check and make sure this is Sheryl Crow. I just assumed it was.
The other picture is from the Marie Blanc, Col Soulor and Col Aubisque day.
It was quite the riot out there.
The second picture in the first set you attached is Chechu Rubiera.
The second set is:
1. Blurry George (Blurry is fine with me!!)
2. Benjamin Noval
3. Jose Azevado
4. Yaroslav Popovych
5. Lance
AG, You are a goddess.
Thank you for setting me straight!
ok, not George but cute anyway!!
wow!!! Those are fantastic pics! I was fortunate to go see the final day last year... it is so amazing to be there on the Champs!
Someday I want to follow the whole thing... thanks for sharing those... just awesome!
There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".
