    July/August weight loss thread

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Another two month period for us to keep track of our progress and encourage each other. This one will take us from our first weigh in this Friday (or whatever day works best for you) 10 July to the 28th of August.

So let me know here if you are in for the next 8 weeks and what your goal for the 28th is. Then at the end of the week, let me know your starting weight.

I'll set up a second page with measurements if wanted, though there didn't seem to be overwhelming interest. But I can set it up ( I think it would be too much for the same page as the weights) for those that are interested. Just let me know what measurements you are looking to track.

Sign me up! The goal is 148.

If you do measurements, I will gladly record mine each week. If you decide not to, it's cool. I can put them on post-its all over the wall behind my desk

No problem. I've looked through that thread and hopefully caught everyone that said something there about the next 2 months.

I'm ready to rejoin this thread!

my first few attempts were failures coz life was always interfering.
Now i have a proper schedule at work so I am trying to fit more cycling into my routine. So here I am again.

My goal is 143lbs (my weight last year May. Now I'm at about 150lbs. sigh)

I need to state my goals here.

    sleep early (before midnight)
    wake up early (5.30am)
morning ride before rush hour (6.00-7.00)
go to work early to do grading and stuff
bring less work home (better if none at all)
spend less time on the internet
    sleep early

its gonna be tough. I'm breaking the first one already. its now 12.30am...
    work tmw!

    work hard everyone!!

Keep 'em coming folks. No problem, I enjoy helping out and since my job=at a computer all the time, it is a nice little break from my day to go in and update.

So on another thread someone recommended livestrong.com and thedailyplate. I signed up and today was the first day I tracked everything. I really like it. I'm seeing things in black and white there that I guess I knew, but I'm still shocked by. I'm hoping that I'll be able to make some changes since I really don't like seeing bad things in black and white like that. Though I was back at the Dr today over this asthma cough that is hanging on going on 7 weeks now. Oh it makes me tired and lazy and miserable. Today I'm in full on whine mode.
