Travel to the fair city of Seattle

    Hey all.
Well, it's official. I am now ticketed to fly to Seattle on June 14th through the morning of the 19th for work.
I will be stuck in meetings all day in some dreadful hotel conference room in the Lake Union area by day. Our group has a dinner planned for (I think), Tuesday evening. Would anyone be available to say "hello" another evening for dinner and socialization (rescue me....please!)?? I had a wonderful time last year meeting MM_QFC and Jocelyn and others. I'd love to say hey again and perhaps meet more.
Now...I'll be on east coast time, and after a day of sitting in a meeting, I imagine I'll be quite close to zombie status by evening...so, don't expect much out of me
    Anyone around?

Hey 7 - glad to hear that you're making a return visit to our lovely city and yes, I'll be around that week, so I'd like to connect again.

Wed, 6/17 works best for me...how about others?

I should be free. I can pretty much move my schedule around as needed, so keep me posted.

    Kewl.
    Wednesday works for me.
MM, I have a phone # I believe is yours still in my cell phone. Would it still be the same as last year? I'm staying at the same place as last year...and (again) won't have a car. So any place reachable by foot, trolley, or bummin' a ride...
    Looking foward to seeing...and meeting...some Seattle TE'ers!!

Seattle area TE and visiting 7rider; Wed, 6/17?

Hey all - so, who all can join in next week while 7rider is in town?
Jocelyn and I met 7rider last year in the So. Lake Union neighborhood; want to do that again?

Oh, carp . . . I can't do Wednesday now. (Finally nailed down a date for dinner w/ a friend who we've been re-scheduling on for at least a year -- gotta keep this one!)

7rider, hope the weather holds up for you!

Oh, that's a bummer. I was hoping to see you again!
Our agenda is full until 5 - so 6 p.m. (or even a bit later) might be best for me.....and perhaps for anyone else who wants to join us.

I too now have a dinner that day but it's early, probably running from about 4:30-6:30. So if you all are still doing your thing around 7-7:30, I can stop by and would like that.

    Ha! Great pic--what is it?

You coming to dinner, Zen? I'd like that.

    Ha, funny picture, Zen.

That picture must have been surreptitiously taken after dinner the night before the Wild Goose Chase ride, when we were all making sure we had each other's phone numbers so we could meet up the next morning.
