A old friend of mine, whom I got in conact after 8 years - is ill.
He had lung cancer and harsh treatment, 12 years ago. From this , he is in terrible pain to this day, cannot work and wakes often screaming from the pain.
Sadly, he had to declare bankruptcy but still has over 3000 dollars worth fof bills, from rent to doctors bill. He is living on food stamps and a prayer but says, that it is killing him slowly , to not know what will happen.
He is a talented musician and artist, as well as a lovely person.
There is a clinic he could go to, but it not covered by medicare. This clinic( http://www.osteodocs.com/chelation_therapy.php) could provide him with chelation, with is helping several people, with cancer I see when I go for my weekly clinic treatments( as I am also ill). It cures many people of cancer, having a excellent ( up to 75 % cure) in almost all cases of cancer.
I cannot organize a charity ride, being here in Australia and ill myself.
I told him to go have a look on livestrong, but it is breaking my heart to know such a wonderful man I care deeply for, is suffering in great pain, just because he has no money. He has been selling off his possessions, one by one, to pay his bills.
Does anyone want to help me help this young man? We could make difference for him.
Im not sure how much chelation is in USA - here In Aus, its about 30 treatments, at 130 per treatment. Any amount would surely help him.

    Thank you for your time,
    Kerry

Just a thought: Does he have some musician friends who could do a benefit concert? My brother is organizing one for a fellow musician who's ill. Somebody's providing a free venue and lots of musicians are performing. I gather, judging by the date of the concert and the date the friend was diagnosed, that it took just a few weeks to get this put together and advertized.
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.

Sadly, no. Long story. Thats why I am trying here. When he told me about sometimes waking up screaming, I knew he was at his wits ends.
