    Fatty Challenges Bob Roll

    To disable ads, please log-in.

My fave blogger in the world, The Fat Cycles aka Fatty, has issued a challenge to my fave commentator Bob Role. Fatty has set up a Livestrong Challenge Page for Bobke. If Fatty raises $5,000 in Bobke's name before the end of the Tour of Calif, Bob will shave that annoying fluff off the top of his head.

If you have any spare cash and contribute, its a worthwhile cause - fight cancer and fix bob's hairdo.

Mission accomplished (though the real shaving has yet to happen). Funny, funny stuff.

Wahoo. Success!! Everyone look for a newly coifed Bobke soon.

People are so generous. I can't believe that over $6,000 was donated in 24 hours. Amazing!!

I saw Bob today in Merced. He had his hat on, I yelled to see his new do as he walked by. He took off his hat and mumbled he didn't have it yet. He looked kinda surprised someone knew about it. bikerHen

I can't believe no one here noticed that Bobke did the deed today, courtesy of Johann I was so busy at work that I missed it, but caught a glimpse at Fatty's liveblog just before I left.

Here's video of him talking about it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dM9IZb_HfQA

Edit: And here they are in the act: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2LsPDukOzw Lance's reaction is terrific

I saw he was "shaved" at the end of the race when he was interviewing Levi & Mark. It was not a good job. I did not see all of the Versus coverage of the race so not sure if they talked about it at all on Versus.
