Hey,
I'm helping organize a memorial ride for a friend's twin sister who died after a long battle with breast cancer. The ride is part of the Peleton Project and will benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation as well as some local hospices, etc. in the New Albany, Indiana (Louisville, KY) region.
You can go to www.sunshineride.org to get information and register. It's on August 6th 2005.
We're looking for sponsors as well as people who want to ride.
Bob Roll will be there as our celebrity and will start the ride--he's ridden in the TDF himself a couple of times. You know who he is...the TDF commentator on OLN who has a southern drawl and mispronounces all those French words!
There is a 5 mile, 25 mile, 40 mile, and 62 mile ride in beautiful Southern Indiana.
Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!

There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".
