    Add in some more...

Add another $4,880 to the pot. Raised for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training program. Got off my fat *** at age 46 to start riding for the first time since, ummm, yep, college (when 10 speeds ruled the world). Can't beat your very first century ride being around Lake Tahoe in June and all for a cause near and dear to your heart!

I'm doing the PanMass Challenge (Wellesley-Bourne) route this year, so far I've raised $1.368.76 with another $218.00 in checks waiting to be credited to my fundraising total. Hopefully, GE will match about $350 of my contributors, which will still leave me about $40 shy of my minimum requirement, but I have until August 6. Time for the second round of e-mails.

(The PanMass Challenge is in it's 26th year of raising money for the "Jimmy Fund" of the Dana-Farber Cancer Research Institute in Boston. In 25 years, PanMass has raised $122 million for cancer research. Their corporate support includes the Boston Red Sox, and 97% of rider-raised money goes to cancer research. Here in the northeast, it is the largest (~4000 riders) cancer charity ride. For more about PanMass go here here )

Thanks Betagirl who did her own fundrasier for Crohns (howdja do that?) and nuthatch just added $425 for the MS Society in the Tour de Farms. I'm getting the impression that MS Society has some of the best rides.

Anyone hazzard a guess how much we will raise by the end of the year?

Add me to the list of TNTers for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society with $1990 and our cutoff is not for another 2 months. My husband is also doing it (not sure if he counts or not though) and he is up to $800.

BikerJeanne, we've started a thread for the TIT'ers, check it out at:

    http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showthread.php?t=2088

there are a lot of gals here rideing for this great cause and thanks for doing that. My cousin Marvin died far to young of the disease.

I've asked Hillslug to give me a TE total but all of you can keep me posted. What started as just curiosity is now a pretty amazing figure so far this year TE riders have raised over $43,876 for various charities. How far will it go?

Ladies, do we count Mr. BikerJeanne?
