    Great touring saga

    Saw a link to this story on bike forums and thought I'd post it. What a wonderful story.

    They rode their bikes wearing skirts!

    Just plain old bikes, nothing fancy. No fancy gear or clothes, whatsoever, for that matter, yet they certainly had the adventure of a lifetime. Considering the times this was quite an accomplishment!

    I didn't read all of it, but it is fascinating. I can't imagine doing something like that, but I'm not very adventurous.
