    I loved the book Miles from Nowhere! That book has inspired so many people to take up bicycle touring.

    Just curious: is Miles from Nowhere illustrated? I'm thinking about getting the e-book version, but if it has good pictures I'd rather buy the real book. Amazon and the publisher, bless them, don't say.

    just ordered a used copy from Amazon...but I think you can "look inside" the new copy.

    I don't remember it being illustrated, but it's been years since I read it. There may have been some photos, but they weren't a major part of the book. It was the narrative that drew you in and kept you reading.
