From the Detroit Free Press, an AP article on incentives for Bike Commuters:

Lacking incentives, commuting cyclists turn bikes into bucks

Gotta love where I work - the incentives are more about parking, the severe lack of, so bike commuters get paid to ride to work! I work part time so its about $50 a month extra, full time would be $100 - the same amount you would have to pay to park (and its not even on campus - if you drive you still have to catch a shuttle bus....)

We also have card secured covered bike parking, lockers and showers with towel service, free bus passes (well, those do go to everyone), occasional extra perks like classes or discounted on site tune-ups and there's a new program that sort of permanently loans free bike to people who will commit to commuting 2 or more days a week (I think you might have to give up part of your commute bonus for that one).
