Two cyclists headed out for a ride at dawn when one was struck by a vehicle. This occurred on highway 18, near Hytrol, in Jonesboro, AR. He was airlifted to The Med in Memphis, TN. According to reports, the cyclists were not using lights on their bikes and since this tragic accident, the local bike shop has sold out their stock of lights.
There is a blog with updated information about his injuries and progress made since the accident. Despite the horrific injuries, he and his family remain encouraged and strengthened by the prayers and support of the community. They have forgiven the driver and encourage prayer for him as well.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
Cycle! It's Good for the Wattle; it's good for the can!
Do you have any update about what happened to the cyclist?
