Most days in life don't stand out, But life's about those days that will...
Thank you! I am the worst blogger ever. I either don't do it at all, or my blog posts are as long as my rides with all of my blah, blah, blah'ing.
Just read your blog. Very nice ride report. Whew! Lotta climbing - I admire that - obviously some level of suffering kept in a cheery light.
How sweet of George to ready your bikes like he did. What a nice surprise it must have been.
I'm always curious why people chose which bikes for long distance mountain passes of the kind you did. Sounds like you had a few road bikes to choose from. Why was Stella chosen over the others? What saddle did you use for this ride?

Great ride - dare I say, epic!
I was thinking, what you SHOULD do next year is the new Alta Alpina double century. That sounds like a worthy challenge for you!
