That first shot looks just like my South Mountain, the roads look similar too.

Zen, for a minute I thought you meant the only South Mountain I know, in Phx, and wondered how that could look like the Berkshires.

Green rolling hills
Great photos - I am so jealous. I dream of riding through luscious green countryside. Where I live in Australia does not have green rolling hills - plenty of brown hills and l-o-n-g flat brown plains. Green generally means along the mountain range, so not great biking terrain.
