    Help with Gmaps Pedometer

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Can someone help with Gmaps Pedometer elevation printout? The help section isn't working today on their site.

What do the numbers on the left mean? Elevation if feet? How do you interpret it as far as figuring out the difficulty level? I'm assuming if there is a rapid rise above the line, it's a steep hill?????

What a great treat Gmaps are!

The numbers on the left are elevation. Not sure how they pick the center point, average elevation for the ride or starting point would be my guess.

The numbers across the bottom are distance. Sharper rise=harder hill=more glory at the top

That thing is a little wonky. It's not you and probably not your computer.
